Romeo is a goat purely because of his goatee lmao. He's also the only one with animal legs, I like to think he gave himself them to make himself taller and he's actually the shortest. If you're seeing this post again and wondering if something changed about him I decided to give him yellow trims LMAO

Fred is a mooshroom, for reasons that are probably obvious. I don't have much to say about him other than everytime I look at his starry eyes so filled with kindness my heart shatters into a million pieces

Xara is a bird, maybe a feathered dragon? Idk I knew I wanted to give her an elytra and other End things but couldn't quite lock in on the dragon vibes. Wanted to give her horns but it didn't work with her hair </3

Funny crime animal sketches

Majima - Doberman. Loyal, scary, great with kids, same sex aggression. He had floppy ears and a whip of a tail when he and Sae swore up.

Nishida - Muskrat. Similar to a beaver but smaller. He has rodent energy (positive) but he needed something a little heftier considering his fighting style. I like their long scaly tails too, it evokes Maji's snakes.

Saejima - Siberian Tiger. Thick & Fluffy. Duh.

Kiryu - Goat. The self-sacrificial goat, beautiful eyes, stubborn as shit. Horns vaguely dragon-esque. I did not realize the meta joke until halfway through drawing him. Goated goat. (Ichiban would be a ram, fyi)

Haruka - Hare. Mostly for the pun, secondly because they're not as meek as rabbits and are a little odd (affectionate).

Nishiki - Shiba Inu. A loyal but fussy breed, doesn't like to share space, not the best with kids. Maybe just a lap dog...?

Daigo - American Bulldog. His dad's face reminds me of an English Bulldog. The American breed's a little cuter.

Hana - Pig. She's like Miss Piggy to me and that is a sincere compliment. Love that chunk.

Akiyama - American Bobtail. Dog-like, talkative, collects shiny objects, escape artist. Definitely a ginger.

I mean this as a genuine question. Is there a single redeeming thing about Jiraiya? Am I too blinded by hatred? Because cannot think of a single god damn thing. The only think I can think as to why ppl like is that he's strong and he taught Minato and Naruto but I would argue that they were going to be strong reguardless of who their mentor was. And then people somehow see him as the father figure naruto never had even though they only knew eachother for like 3 years? And he's constantly treating him like shit onscreen.
